Adds the advanced logging config for audit. Existing support for auditing to a single file remains for E0 and E10 licenses instances, and a new config item ExperimentalAuditSettings.AdvancedLoggingConfig is added that behaves like LogSettings.AdvancedLoggingConfig.
Supported destinations:
- file
- syslog (with out without TLS)
- raw TCP socket (with out without TLS)
ExperimentalAuditSettings.AdvancedLoggingConfig can contain a filespec to a config file, a database DSN, or JSON.

Adds Advanced Logging to server. Advanced Logging is an optional logging capability that allows customers to send log records to any number of destinations.
Supported destinations:
- file
- syslog (with out without TLS)
- raw TCP socket (with out without TLS)
Allows developers to specify discrete log levels as well as the standard trace, debug, info, ... panic. Existing code and logging API usage is unchanged.
Log records are emitted asynchronously to reduce latency to the caller. Supports hot-reloading of logger config, including adding removing targets.
Advanced Logging is configured within config.json via "LogSettings.AdvancedLoggingConfig" which can contain a filespec to another config file, a database DSN, or JSON.
* explicitly assert panic as error log
* Revert "[MM-18150] plugin panic trace should not be lost (#13559)"
This reverts commit 5d928b4f94, while leaving the unit tests intact
and now asserting debug logs instead.
* missing license header
* Transit panic from debug to error
* Parse plugin's StdErr and output panic to the mlog.Error
* Add unit tests
* Change log test
* Remove buffer from logger
* Remove 'panic' string filter
* Change *Buffer to io.Writer

* Consistent license message for all the go files
* Fixing the last set of unconsistencies with the license headers
* Addressing PR review comments
* Fixing busy.go and busy_test.go license header
* revert 4e5f6fcfbc
This reverts the configuration setting to disable plugin health checks, preferring instead to retain this functionality for advanced cases. In part, this was driven by the discovery that the health checks were failing on Windows, though that will be addressed separately.
Fixes: MM-16378
* simplify interval handling/logging
Also shutdown the job when plugins are altogether disabled.
* [MM-10199] Printing stack traces from http handlers panics in mattermost logs
Previously recovery handlers from gorilla mux was used, which was printing stack traces from panics in stderr
Removing it should print stack traces into logger passed to http.Server, which as of now is created from mlog
Refer #10351
* Logging errors from http server at error level instead of info level
Added test for verifying whether panic gets logged in server logger
* Fixed failing test due to tls error
* Closing temp file for panic log before removing and checking errors for closure and removal
* Added regular log line in panic handler for TestPanicLog to check whether it gets logged
* [MM-13828] Running tests from a new temp folder with all test resources
Possible fix for #10132
All packages which have a TestMain and use testlib.MainHelper will have a new current working directory which will have all the test
resources copied.
Note: default.json is copied as config.json as well to make sure tests don't have any impact due to changes in config by devs
* [MM-13828] Added TestMain to remaining packages to use testlib.MainHelper
This makes sure tests from all packages run with same test resources, setup in a new temp folder for each package
* Updated Jenkins file to not not config/default.json
This makes sure CI has same config files as a dev's machine
* [MM-13828] Changes requested from code review
Added accessor methods to testlib.MainHelper for accessing members
Fixed some broken tests due to change in cwd while tests run
Some other code refactoring and improvements
* [MM-13828] Added new factory method with options for creating test main helper and some code refactoring
testlib.NewMainHelperWithOptions supports options to turn on/off test dependencies and environment setup
Some other code refactoring
* Exporting members of testlib.MainHelper to make enterprise tests work
* Fixed gofmt error
* [MM-13828] removed unwanted dependency on plugins directory while setting up test resources
* [MM-13828] Fixed some tests failing due to them being running from temp folder
* [MM-13828] Some code changes suggested in PR review
* Fixed gofmt error
* Rerouted the unit test logs through t.Log
* resolving merge confilvts
* Update testing.go
* Update helper_test.go
* Added godocs for NewTestingLogger
* Added go docs for NewTestingLogger
* Resolving conflicts
* Update logrus to 1.2 and add as a direct dependency
* Create an mlog/human package for pretty-printing logs
This package can read JSON logs from mattermost.log, and output the data to
either logrus or a custom formatter, to make the logs more human readable.
* Create a command for outputting human-readable logs
This command will read JSON data from mattermost.log or stdin, and
output in a human readable format. An optional argument can be used
to activate logrus output (which includes color support).
* Reorganize code in mlog/human and improve logrus timestamp formatting
Dump mlog to STDOUT before initialized, to allow for logging failures
that occur due to config parsing, etc.
Fix file logging to honour logger.FileJson instead of copying the
logger.ConsoleJson setting.
* don't report an error on plugin activation if already active
* improved plugin logging events
Log an error when a plugin's ServeHTTP fails, or when it unexpectedly
terminates.
Restart a plugin at most three times, allowing its failure to later
bubble up under the "failed to stay running" status.
* clarified plugin activation/deactivation
Avoid repeatedly activating when any configuration bit changes. Improved
logging.
* constrain plugin ids to ^[a-zA-Z0-9-_\.]+$ and enforce minimum length
Previously, the plugin id was used unsanitized to relocate the plugin
bundle, which allowed writing outside the `plugins/` directory by using
an `id` containing `../`.
Similarly, an empty string was accepted as an id and led to unexpected
error messages.
* remove plugins by manifest path, not id
If the id within the manifest ever diverges from the actual plugin
location, it becomes impossible to remove via the API. Instead, if the
plugin is found by id, remove the path containing the manifest.
* ignore plugins with nil manifests
If a plugin was detected, but had a manifest that couldn't be parsed, it
will be left nil but still be listed among the packages. Skip over these
in most cases to avoid segfaults.
* leverage mlog more effectively for plugins
* build issues
* Implementing structured logging
* Changes to en.json to allow refactor to run.
* Fixing global logger
* Structured logger initalization.
* Add caller.
* Do some log redirection.
* Auto refactor
* Cleaning up l4g reference and removing dependancy.
* Removing junk.
* Copyright headers.
* Fixing tests
* Revert "Changes to en.json to allow refactor to run."
This reverts commit fd8249e99b.
* Fixing some auto refactor strangeness and typo.
* Making keys more human readable.
