For some reason, enabling focus reporting during terminal setup, causes slow rendering during Nvim startup on tmux 2.3 with the tmux `focus-events` option enabled. Neovim is a project that seeks to aggressively refactor Vim in order to:
- Simplify maintenance and encourage contributions
- Split the work between multiple developers
- Enable advanced UIs without modifications to the core
- Maximize extensibility

Install from source
make CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo
sudo make install
To install to a non-default location, specify CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:
make CMAKE_EXTRA_FLAGS="-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/full/path/"
make install
