Rob Crittenden b8016807eb Use the caIPAserviceCert profile for issuing service certs.
This profile enables subject validation and ensures that the subject
that the CA issues is uniform. The client can only request a specific
CN, the rest of the subject is fixed.

This is the first step of allowing the subject to be set at
installation time.

Also fix 2 more issues related to the return results migration.

Rob Crittenden 6d88fd6404 Change the service name to reflect changes in pki-ca (now pki-cad).
Also properly use the instance name where appropriate. There were a
couple of places where the service name was used and this worked because
they were the same.

Rob Crittenden 766b534da0 Make the IPA server host and its services "real" IPA entries
We use kadmin.local to bootstrap the creation of the kerberos principals
for the IPA server machine: host, HTTP and ldap. This works fine and has
the side-effect of protecting the services from modification by an
admin (which would likely break the server).

Unfortunately this also means that the services can't be managed by useful
utilities such as certmonger. So we have to create them as "real" services
instead.

Rob Crittenden 62d40286ac A utility for removing principals from a keytab.
When we un-enroll a client we'll do a bit of cleanup including removing
any principals for the IPA realm from /etc/krb5.keytab.

This removes principals in 2 ways:
- By principal, only entries matching the full principal are removed
- By realm. Any principal for that realm is removed

This does not change the KDC at all, just removes entries from a file
on the client machine.

Rob Crittenden 384eec771d Replace /etc/ipa/ipa.conf with /etc/ipa/default.conf
The new framework uses default.conf instead of ipa.conf. This is useful

This wipes out the last vestiges of the old ipa.conf from v1.

Rob Crittenden 0dcaea8d16 Add server option to ipa-join so the IPA server can be specified.

use that.

Rob Crittenden ab1667f3c1 Use pyasn1-based PKCS#10 and X509v3 parsers instead of pyOpenSSL.
The pyOpenSSL PKCS#10 parser doesn't support attributes so we can't identify
requests with subject alt names.

Subject alt names are only allowed if:
  - the host for the alt name exists in IPA
  - if binding as host principal, the host is in the services managedBy attr

Rob Crittenden cfec51819b Add SELinux policy for CRL file publishing.
This policy should really be provided by dogtag. We don't want
to grant read/write access to everything dogtag can handle so we
change the context to cert_t instead. But we have to let dogtag
read/write that too hence this policy.

To top it off we can't load this policy unless dogtag is also loaded
so we insert it in the IPA installer

Rob Crittenden 1ea6def129 Fix two bugs: one in parsing the ACI and one in comparing two ACIs
The parsing bug was looking for the string 'version' expecting to find
the ACI version. This blew up with the attribute nsosversion. Use
the string 'version 3.0' instead.

The comparison bug appeared if neither ACI had a targetattr attribute.
It was trying to create a set out of a None which is illegal. If an
ACI doesn't have any targetattrs then return () instead.

Rob Crittenden 884301ef33 Cache installer questions for the 2-step process of an externally-signed CA
Installing a CA that is signed by another CA is a 2-step process. The first
step is to generate a CSR for the CA and the second step is to install
the certificate issued by the external CA. To avoid asking questions
over and over (and potentially getting different answers) the answers
are cached.

Rob Crittenden 55c62ac79a Add support for setting/adding arbitrary attributes
This introduces 2 new params: --setattr and --addattr

Both take a name/value pair, ala:

ipa user-mod --setattr=postalcode=20601 jsmith

--setattr replaces or sets the current attribute to the value
--addattr adds the value to an attribute (or sets a new attribute)

OptionsParser allows multiple versions of this, so you can have multiple
setattr and addattr, either for the same attribute or for different
attributes.

ipa user-mod --addattr=postalcode=20601 --addattr=postalcode=30330 jsmith

Values are silent dropped if either of these on an existing param:

ipa user-mod --setattr=givenname=Jerry jsmith

Is a no-op.

Rob Crittenden bd619adb5c Use a new mechanism for delegating certificate issuance.
Using the client IP address was a rather poor mechanism for controlling
who could request certificates for whom. Instead the client machine will
bind using the host service principal and request the certificate.

In order to do this:
* the service will need to exist
* the machine needs to be in the certadmin rolegroup
* the host needs to be in the managedBy attribute of the service

It might look something like:

admin

ipa host-add client.example.com --password=secret123
ipa service-add HTTP/client.example.com
ipa service-add-host --hosts=client.example.com HTTP/client.example.com
ipa rolegroup-add-member --hosts=client.example.com certadmin

Rob Crittenden 453a19fcac First pass at enforcing certificates be requested from same host
We want to only allow a machine to request a certificate for itself, not for
other machines. I've added a new taksgroup which will allow this.

The requesting IP is resolved and compared to the subject of the CSR to
determine if they are the same host. The same is done with the service
principal. Subject alt names are not queried yet.

This does not yet grant machines actual permission to request certificates
yet, that is still limited to the taskgroup request_certs.

We have to replace 05rfc2247.ldif because it contains some conflicting

Rob Crittenden dac224c25a Add support for per-group kerberos password policy.
Use a Class of Service template to do per-group password policy. The
design calls for non-overlapping groups but with cospriority we can
still make sense of things.

The password policy entries stored under the REALM are keyed only on
the group name because the MIT ldap plugin can't handle quotes in the
DN. It also can't handle spaces between elements in the DN.

in the regex altogether. This now lets us handle all current ACIs in IPA
  (some used to be ignored/skipped)
- Add support for user groups so one can do v1-style delegation (group A

Rob Crittenden 49b36583a5 Add external CA signing and abstract out the RA backend
External CA signing is a 2-step process. You first have to run the IPA
installer which will generate a CSR. You pass this CSR to your external
CA and get back a cert. You then pass this cert and the CA cert and
re-run the installer. The CSR is always written to /root/ipa.csr.

A run would look like:

 # ipa-server-install --ca --external-ca -p password -a password -r EXAMPLE.COM -u dirsrv -n example.com --hostname=ipa.example.com -U
[ sign cert request ]
 # ipa-server-install --ca --external-ca -p password -a password --external_cert_file=/tmp/rob.crt --external_ca_file=/tmp/cacert.crt -U -p password -a password -r EXAMPLE.COM -u dirsrv -n example.com --hostname=ipa.example.com

This also abstracts out the RA backend plugin so the self-signed CA we
create can be used in a running server. This means that the cert plugin
can request certs (and nothing else). This should let us do online replica
creation.

To handle the self-signed CA the simple ca_serialno file now contains
additional data so we don't have overlapping serial numbers in replicas.
This isn't used yet. Currently the cert plugin will not work on self-signed
replicas.

One very important change for self-signed CAs is that the CA is no longer
held in the DS database. It is now in the Apache database.

Lots of general fixes were also made in ipaserver.install.certs including:
 - better handling when multiple CA certificates are in a single file
 - A temporary directory for request certs is not always created when the
class is instantiated (you have to call setup_cert_request())

ldapi: grants httpd and krb5kdc to access the DS ldapi socket

ctypes: the Python uuid module includes ctypes which makes httpd segfault

Rob Crittenden 559c76f761 Add option to the installer for uid/gid starting numbers.
This also adds a new option to the template system. If you include
eval(string) in a file that goes through the templater then the
string in the eval will be evaluated by the Python interpreter. This is
used so one can do $UIDSTART+1. If any errors occur during the evaluation
the original string is is returned, eval() and all so it is up to the

Rob Crittenden cab5525076 Enable ldapi connections in the management framework.
If you don't want to use ldapi then you can remove the ldap_uri setting
in /etc/ipa/default.conf. The default for the framework is to use
ldap://localhost:389/

Rob Crittenden c781e8a57d Add a new objectclass, ipaObject, that will add a UUID to many IPA objects
ipaObject is defined as an auxiliary objectclass so it is up to the
plugin author to ensure that the objectclass is included an a UUID generated.
ipaUniqueId is a MUST attribute so if you include the objectclass you must
ensure that the uuid is generated.

This also fixes up some unrelated unit test failures.

Rob Crittenden 5bbe1108d5 Identify CAs to trust from an imported PKCS#12 file
We used to use certutil -O to determine the cert chain to trust. This
behavior changed in F-11 such that untrusted CAs are not displayed.
This is only used when we import PKCS#12 files so use pk12util -l to
display the list of certs and keys in the file to determine the nickname(s)
of the CAs to trust.

Rob Crittenden 5767c6b37d Fix deprecation warning for the sha library on Python 2.6
sha has been replaced by hashlib. We need to support Python 2.4 - 2.6 so
this will use hashlib if available but fall back onto sha if not.
Fortunately they use the same API for the function we need.

Rob Crittenden b382755fee No need to trust NSS built-in CA's, more specific regex for finding CA nickname
- Add some logging so we have a better idea of what happened if things fail
- Default to self-signed CA to trust if one is not found. This will fix
the self-signed CA case where certutil doesn't return untrusted CA's in
  -O output.
- Remove unused httplib import

This involves creating a new CA instance on the replica and using pkisilent
to create a clone of the master CA.

Also generally fixes IPA to work with the latest dogtag SVN tip. A lot of
changes to ports and configuration have been done recently.
