The user and stageuser commands return the following error
when the user is created/updated with a non existing idp:
$ ipa user-add testuser --first test --last user --idp dummy
ipa: ERROR: no such entry
The error is not descriptive enough and has been modified to
display instead:
$ ipa user-add testuser --first test --last user --idp dummy
ipa: ERROR: External IdP configuration dummy not found

The commands ipa user-add or ipa group-add validate the
format of the user/group name and display the following
message when it does not conform to the expectations:
invalid 'login': may only include letters, numbers, _, -, . and $
The format is more complex, for instance '1234567' is an invalid
user name but the failure is inconsistent with the error message.
Modify the error message to point to ipa help user/group and add
more details in the help message.
Same change for idoverrideuser and idoverridegroup:
The user/group name must follow these rules:
- cannot contain only numbers
- must start with a letter, a number, _ or .
- may contain letters, numbers, _, ., or -
- may end with a letter, a number, _, ., - or $

ipa stageuser-find fails to return a staged user if it does not
contain the posixaccount objectclass.
The code is replacing the search filter (objectclass=posixaccount)
with (|(objectclass=posixaccount)(objectclass=inetorgperson)) so it
should work in theory.
The issue is that on python2 the filter has been hexlified before
reaching the stageuser plugin, hence filter.replace does not recognize
the pattern (objectclass=posixaccount).
The fix consists in creating the filter with a call to
ldap.make_filter_from_attr()
that will hexlify too, if needed.

For now all the default shells of users and admin are hardcoded in
different parts of the project. This makes it impossible to run the
test suite against the setup, which has the default shell differed
from '/bin/sh'.
The single configuration point for the shell of users and admin is
added to overcome this limitation.

Turn calls "handle_not_found()" into "raise handle_not_found()" to
indicate control flow chance. It makes the code easier to understand,
the control flow more obvious and helps static analyzers.
It's OK to raise here because handle_not_found() always raises an

A change to the algorithm that generates random passwords
for multiple purposes throught IPA. This spells out the need
to assess password strength by the entropy it contains rather
than its length.
This new password generation should also be compatible with the
NSS implementation of password requirements in FIPS environment
so that newly created databases won't fail with wrong authentication.
