This test was added in 2d40e2da7b to ensure LXC domains could be
defined correctly when caps probing was skipped due to SKIP_OSTYPE.
However we do caps probing unconditionally now, so this test case
is redundant

Nowadays the test suite changes appear quite simple, just extending
test capabilities data a bit so that we aren't trying to define

VMs with hardcoded platform network devices are forced to use old
style '-net nic' command line config. Current we use qemu's vlan
option to hook this with the '-netdev' host side of things.
However since qemu 1.2 there is '-net nic,netdev=X' option for
explicitly referencing a netdev ID, which is more inline with
typical VM commandlines, so let's switch to that

At daemon startup we query logind for host PM support status. Without
a service dependency host startup can trigger libvirtd errors like:

<features><vmcoreinfo/> is a bare boolean XML property. We don't really
use this format anymore and instead prefer tristate <X state=on|off/>
since it's required for modeling on/off/default. If for example future
qemu started enabling vmcoreinfo by default we wouldn't have any way
for the user to turn this off.
Convert it to tristate. For writing XML this is semanticly the same,
<vmcoreinfo/> is processed as <vmcoreinfo state='on'/>.
For apps reading guest XML this is technically an API change,
as they might misinterpret <vmcoreinfo state='off'/>, however this
has only been present in libvirt since 3.10.0 and I don't think any
apps are dependent on this yet

match ascii letters here, so use a simple regex. And again drop the
aggressive exception handling, it doesn't seem to trigger for anything

Module 'string' function lower doesn't exist in python3. The canonical
way is to call .lower() on a str instance. Do that, and make the
exception handling more specific, which would have made this issue
obvious.

For a logged in user this a path like /dev/dri/renderD128 will have
default ownership root:video which won't work for the qemu:qemu user,
so we need to chown it.
We only do this when mount namespaces are enabled in the qemu driver,
so the chown'ing doesn't interfere with other users of the shared
render node path

The VIR_SECURITY_MANAGER_MOUNT_NAMESPACE flag informs the DAC driver
if mount namespaces are in use for the VM. Will be used for future
changes.
Wire it up in the qemu driver
arm/aarch64 -M virt on KVM doesn't and will never work with standard
VGA card emulation. The recommended method is to use type=virtio, so
let's make it the default for video devices without an explicit type
set by the user.

There's some specific logic in qemuBuildCpuCommandLine to support
auto adding -cpu qemu 32 for arch=i686 with an x86_64 qemu binary.
Add a test case for it
The code only currently handles writing an x86 default -cpu
argument, and doesn't know anything about other architectures.
Let's make this explicit rather than leaving ex. qemu ppc64 to
throw an error about -cpu qemu64

Certain XML features that aren't in the <cpu> block map to -cpu
flags on the qemu cli. If one of these is specified but the user
didn't explicitly pass an XML <cpu> model, we need to format a
default model on the command line.
The current code handles this by sprinkling this default cpu handling
among all the different flag string formatting. Instead, switch it
to do this just once.
This alters some test output slightly: the previous code would
write the default -cpu in some cases when no flags were actually
added, so the output was redundant.

Some qemu arch/machine types have built in platform devices that
are always implicitly available. For platform serial devices, the
current code assumes that only old style -serial config can be
used for these devices.
Apparently though since -chardev was introduced, we can use -chardev
in these cases, like this:
-chardev pty,id=foo
-serial chardev:foo
Since -chardev enables all sorts of modern features, use this method
for platform devices.

Several tests are intending to test some serial/console related
bits but aren't setting QEMU_CAPS_CHARDEV. This will soon be enabled
unconditionally so let's add it ahead of time.
* q35-virt-manager-basic: Intended to test a virt-manager q35 config,
which will include a serial/console device
* console-compat*: console/serial XML compat handling
* bios: Needs a serial device for sgabios CLI

Rather than try to whitelist all device configs that can't use
-chardev, blacklist the only one that really can't, which is the
default serial/console target type=isa case.
ISA specifically isn't a valid config for arm/aarch64, but we've
always implicitly treated it to mean 'default platform device'.

Since a9331394 (first release v2.1.0), specifying a manual
security_driver setting in qemu.conf causes the daemon to fail to
start, erroring with 'Duplicate security driver X'.
The duplicate checking was incorrectly comparing every entry
against itself, guaranteeing a false positive.

A nodedev device definition like this is required for testing
NodeDeviceCreateXML and NodeDeviceDestroy. So unless it's part
of the stock test:///default set there's no way to actually
invoke those functions for the default URI
Convert the individual XML documents into one big XML document
in the format expected by the non-default test://$PATH URI, and
use the same internal helpers for assembling the driver contents.
Every driver provides a refreshPool impl, and many other critical
places in the code unconditionally call it without checking if
it exists, so this check is pointless
This code was attempting to handle some implicit <console> XML
formatting for manually assembled DomainDef, since previously the
console<->serial compat copying was only done at XML parse time.
Nowadays it's done via virDomainDefPostParse ->
virDomainDefAddConsoleCompat, which all manual DomainDef builders
already call, so we can drop this workaround.
The other two DomainHasBlockJob usage error messages don't contain
'an', so unify things to save translators some effort. Dropping
the 'an' is closer to the sentence structure in the errors from
qemuDomainDiskBlockJobIsActive as well
Fedora now ships edk2 firmware in its official repos, so adapt
the nvram path list to match. Eventually we can remove the nightly
links as well once some integration kinks have been worked out,
and documentation updated.

All qemu versions we support have QEMU_CAPS_DEVICE, so checking
for it is redundant. Remove the usage.
The code diff isn't clear, but all that code is just inindented
with no other change.
Test cases that hit qemuDomainAssignAddresses but don't have
infrastructure for specifying qemuCaps values see lots of
churn, since now PCI addresses are in the XML output.
Upcoming patches are going to make the disk portion of these
test cases fail. In order to make it work, we would need to
extend the qemuargv2xml test infrastructure to handle qemuCaps.
This is worthwhile to do at some point but isn't critical.
Instead just drop the offending portion, which isn't even the
target of the test cases anyways
hotplug APIs with the AFFECT_CONFIG flag are essentially replicating
'insert <device> into XML document, and redefine XML'. Thinking of
it this way, it's natural that we call virDomainDefPostParse after
manually editing the XML here.
Not only does doing so allow us to drop a bunch of open coded calls
to qemuDomainAssignAddresses, but it also means we are going through
the standard channels for XML validation and potentially catching
errors in user submitted XML.
This wires up qemuDomainAssignAddresses into the new
virDomainDefAssignAddressesCallback, so it's always triggered
via virDomainDefPostParse. We are essentially doing this already
with open coded calls sprinkled about.
qemu argv parse output changes slightly since previously it wasn't
hitting qemuDomainAssignAddresses.
It was only needed for rpm versions that are much older than our
minimally supported distro
