instead of only unloading it. This makes sure old profiles don't pile up
in /etc/apparmor.d/libvirt and we get updates to modified templates on
VM restart.

Unify the logic we use for looking up daemons and admin binaries. Some
lookups prefered $PATH over **/sbin while others left out $PATH
entierly. We add **/sbin since non-root users might not have these in
their path.
This also unbreaks libvirt when built on Debian systems with usrmerge[0]
and run on systems without it.

While a zero allocation in safezero should be fine it isn't when we use
posix_fallocate which returns EINVAL on a zero allocation.
While we could skip the zero allocation in safezero_posix_fallocate it's
an optimization to do it for all allocations.
This fixes vm installation via virtinst for me which otherwise aborts

First check overrides, then read only files then restricted access
itself.
This allows us to mark files for read only access whose parents were
already restricted for read write.
Based on a proposal by Martin Kletzander
Since we're linking this into libvirtd we need some symbols to be public
but not part of the public API so mark them as
LIBVIRT_ADMIN_PRIVATE_<VERSION> as we do with libvirt.
Making all other symbols local makes sure we don't accidentally leak
unwanted ones.
Otherwise the error is just
error: Failed to create domain from test1.xml
error: failed to retrieve file descriptor for interface: Transport endpoint is not connected
since we don't get a sensible error after the fork.
When running the test suite using "unshare -n" we might have IPv6 but no
configured addresses. Due to AI_ADDRCONFIG getaddrinfo then fails with
EAI_NONAME which we should then treat as IPv6 unavailable.

We're using Polkit's DBus API so no need to check wether this feature is
supported. We don't use the result or the path to the pkcheck program
anywhere.
When using QEMU's 9pfs the target "dir" element is not necessarily an
absolute path but merely an arbitrary identifier. So validation in that
case currently fails with the misleading

If we don't properly clean up all processes in the

echo $PID > /sys/fs/cgroup/systemd/machine.slice/machine-${VMNAME}.scope/tasks

Invoke TerminateMachine to be on the safe side since systemd tracks the
cgroup anyway. This is a noop if all processes have terminated already.

When building packages in a clean chroot the QEMU_USER and QEMU_GROUP
don't exist making VirQemuDriverConfigNew fail with privileged=true.
Avoid that by not requiring privileged mode upfront but setting it later
so we skip the user/group existence check.
This solution was suggested by Daniel P. Berrange and tested by Martin
Kletzander.

The change from initgroups to virGetGroupList/setgroups in
cab36cfe71ba83b71e536ba5c98e596f02b697b0 dropped the primary group from
processes group list iff the passed in group to virGetGroupList differs
from the user's primary group.
So always include the primary group to bring back the old behaviour.
Debian has the kvm group as primary group but uses
libvirt-qemu:libvirt-qemu as user:group to run the kvm process so
without this change the /dev/kvm is inaccessible.

Some versions of kFreeBSD (like 9.0) declare link_addr in a header
but lack an implementation. This makes ./configure pass but breaks
compilation later with a
undefined reference to `link_addr'

In the non linux case some callers like gather_scsi_host_caps needed the
return code of -1 while others like update_caps needed an empty
statement (to avoid a "statement without effect" warning). This is much
