Let's cleanly differentiate what wiping a volume does for ploop and
other volumes so it's more readable what is done for each one instead of
branching out multiple times in different parts of the same function.

Until now we simply errored out when the translation from pool+volume
failed. However, we should instead check whether that disk is needed or
not since there is an option for that.

When wiping a volume we just rewrite all the data of the volume, not
only the content. Since format gets overridden, we need to recreate the
volume. However we can't do that for every possible format out there.
Since it was only coded for the ploop volume type, let's document what
might be the consequences instead of forbidding it for every other
format out there.

So commit 306b3a8504 tried mimicking behaviour of commit 540c339a25, but
added a virObjectRef(vm) only after virDomainObjListAdd() in
lxcDomainDefineXMLFlags() and not in lxcDomainCreateXMLWithFiles().
That way undefining a domain that was started with different XML than
defined will leave the domain object in a state with not enough
references to then remove it. Hence any lxcDomainDestroyFlags() called
afterwards crashes the daemon.

Setting up cgroups and other things for all kinds of threads (the
emulator thread, vCPU threads, I/O threads) was copy-pasted every time
new thing was added. Over time each one of those functions changed a
bit differently. So create one function that does all that setup and
start using it, starting with I/O thread setup. That will shave some
duplicated code and maybe fix some bugs as well.

This almost reverts b7200d7236. The size is increased from 11M to 13M
and the compression is sped up from 2 minutes to 17 seconds. The
compression level is removed because -9 doesn't allow multiple threads
to be spawned. Effectively speeds up distcheck as well.

This option allows or disallows detection of zero-writes if it is set to
"on" or "off", respectively. It can be also set to "unmap" in which
case it will try discarding that part of image based on the value of the
"discard" option.

If you want to set block device I/O tuning values that end with '_max'
and there is nothing else set, libvirt emits an error. In particular:
error: internal error: Unexpected error
That's an unknown error. That is because *_max values depend on their
respective non-_max values. QEMU even says that in the error message
sent as a response to the monitor command:
"error": {"class": "GenericError", "desc": "bps_max/iops_max require
corresponding bps/iops values"}
the problem was that we didn't know that and there was no check for it.
Adding such check makes sure that there will be less confused users.

Until now, the only hot thing in this test was the name. That's because
we set the id to '-1' before every test. With this change, we test the
hotplug on live domains as the name suggests and as it should be.

When building using -Og, gcc sees that some variables can be used
uninitialized It can be debatable whether it is possible with our
codeflow, but functions should be self-contained and initializations are
always good. The return instead of goto is due to actualType being used
in the cleanup.

We were lacking tests that are checking for the completeness of our
nodedev XMLs and also whether we output properly formatted ones. This
patch adds parsing for the capability elements inside the <capability
type='pci'> element. Also bunch of tests are added to show everything
works properly.

There were few things done in the nodedev code but we were lacking tests
for it. And because of that we missed that the schema was not updated
either. Fix the schema and add various test files to show the schema
is correct.

We had both and the only difference was that the latter also included
information about multifunction setting. The problem with that was that
we couldn't use functions made for only one of the structs (e.g.
parsing). To consolidate those two structs, use the one in virpci.h,
include that in domain_conf.h and add the multifunction member in it.

The man page says: "(Re)-Connect to the hypervisor. When the shell is
first started, this is automatically run with the URI parameter
requested by the "-c" option on the command line." However, if you run:
virsh -c 'test://default' 'connect; uri'
the output will not be 'test://default'. That's because the 'connect'
command does not care about any virsh-only related settings and if it is
run without parameters, it connects with @uri == NULL. Not only that
doesn't comply to what the man page describes, but it also doesn't make
sense. It also means you aren't able to reconnect to whatever you are
connected currently.
So let's fix that in both virsh and virt-admin add a test case for it.

Similarly to what commit 7140807917 did with some internal paths,
clear vnc socket paths that were generated by us. Having such path in
the definition can cause trouble when restoring the domain. The path is
generated to the per-domain directory that contains the domain ID.
However, that ID will be different upon restoration, so qemu won't be
able to create that socket because the directory will not be prepared.
To be able to migrate to older libvirt, skip formatting the socket path
in migratable XML if it was autogenerated. And mark it as autogenerated
if it already exists and we're parsing live XML.

If the domain name is long enough, the timestamp can prolong the
filename for automatic coredump to more than the filesystem's limit.
Simply shorten it like we do in other places. The timestamp helps with
the unification, but having the ID in the name won't hurt.

The values are currently limited to LLONG_MAX which causes some
problems. QEMU conveniently changed their maximum to 1e15 (1 PB) which
is enough for some time and we need to adapt to that so that we don't
throw "Unknown error" messages. Strictly limiting these values actually
fixes some corner case values (off-by-one checks in QEMU probably).
Since values out of the new specified range do not overflow anything,
change the type of error as well.

So in glibc-2.23 sys/sysmacros.h is no longer included from sys/types.h
and we don't build because of the usage of major/minor/makedev macros.
Autoconf already has AC_HEADER_MAJOR macro that check where exactly
these functions/macros are defined, so let's use that.

When creating the master key, we used mode 0600 (which we should) but
because we were creating it as root, the file is not readable by any
qemu running as non-root. Fortunately, it's just a matter of labelling
the file. We are generating the file path few times already, so let's
label it in the same function that has access to the path already.

Commit d77ffb6876 added not only reporting of the PCI header type, but
also parsing of that information. However, because there was no parsing
done for the other sub-PCI capabilities, if there was any other
capability then a valid header type name (like phys_function or
virt_functions) the parsing would fail. This prevented passing node
device XMLs that we generated into our own functions when dealing with,
e.g. with SRIOV cards.
Instead of reworking the whole parsing, just fix this one occurence and
remove a test for it for the time being. Future patches will deal with
the rest.

The paths have the domain ID in them. Without cleaning them, they would
contain the same ID even after multiple restarts. That could cause
various problems, e.g. with access.
Add function qemuDomainClearPrivatePaths() for this as a counterpart of
qemuDomainSetPrivatePaths().

Every aligning requires at least one cast and it's hard to read. Let's
make a function that makes sure the pointer is moved according to the
alignment and use that to move throughout the data buffer.

This allows setting the address in host and/or network order and makes
the naming consistent. Now you don't need to call [hn]to[nh]l()
functions as that is taken care of by these functions. Also, now
the *NetOrder take the address in network order, the other functions in
host order so the naming and usage is consistent. Some places were
having the address in network order and calling ntohl() just so the
original function can call htonl() again. This makes it nicer to read.

If we expose this information, which is one byte in every PCI config
file, we let all mgmt apps know whether the device itself is an endpoint
or not so it's easier for them to decide whether such device can be
passed through into a VM (endpoint) or not (*-bridge).

In qemuConnectDomainXMLToNative() we set up the monitor, but we never
memset() it to zeros. Thanks to the introduction of the logfile
parameter of chardevs (and the logfile member of the struct), we started
checking whether that's non-NULL and that exposed this old error.

There are cases when we don't want to tell the user we are connected.
That's for example when we first connect to the server without the
command 'connect' itself. That helps to clear out output of first
command, mainly when running non-interactively.

We were using parentheses for grouping admin|remote even though we didn't
need to capture what's in it. That caused some changes to be greater
than needed and, to be honest, some confusion as well. Let's use it as
it should be used. It'll also make future changes more consistent.

virAdm is prefix only used on the client side. Or at least for now. On
server, though, this corresponds to virNet structures (virAdmConnect is
virNetDaemon, virAdmServer should be virNetServer, in the future
virAdmClient will be resolved to virNetServerClient, and so on).
This will also make future work clearer and easier.

At first I did not want to do this, but after trying to implement some
newer feaures in the admin API I realized we need that to make our lives
easier. On the other hand they are not saved redundantly and the
virNetServer objects are still kept in a hash table.

Function virAdmConnectListServers() forgot to check for flags at all,
virAdmConnectOpen() on the other hand checked them but did no dispatch
the error. virCheckFlags() should be used only when there should be no
other thing done after erroring out and since they are used on different
places then just public API, they cannot dispatch errors. So let's use
virCheckFlagsGoto instead.

Per-domain directories were introduced in order to be able to
completely separate security labels for each domain (commit
f1f68ca334). However when the domain
name is long (let's say a ridiculous 110 characters), we cannot
connect to the monitor socket because on length of UNIX socket address
is limited. In order to get around this, let's shorten it in similar
fashion and in order to avoid conflicts, throw in an ID there as well.
Also save that into the status XML and load the old status XMLs
properly (to clean up after older domains). That way we can change it
in the future.
The shortening can be seen in qemuxml2argv tests, for example in the
hugepages-pages2 case.

So, systemd-machined has this philosophy that machine names are like
hostnames and hence should follow the same rules. But we always allowed
international characters in domain names. Thus we need to modify the
machine name we are passing to systemd.
In order to change some machine names that we will be passing to systemd,
we also need to call TerminateMachine at the end of a lifetime of a
domain. Even for domains that were started with older libvirt. That
can be achieved thanks to virSystemdGetMachineNameByPID(). And because
we can change machine names, we can get rid of the inconsistent and
pointless escaping of domain names when creating machine names.
So this patch modifies the naming in the following way. It creates the
name as <drivername>-<id>-<name> where invalid hostname characters are
stripped out of the name and if the resulting name is longer, it
truncates it to 64 characters. That way we can start domains we
couldn't start before. Well, at least on systemd.
To make it work all together, the machineName (which is needed only with
systemd) is saved in domain's private data. That way the generation is
moved to the driver and we don't need to pass various unnecessary
arguments to cgroup functions.
The only thing this complicates a bit is the scope generation when
validating a cgroup where we must check both old and new naming, so a
slight modification was needed there.

Since commit 7140807917 we are generating
socket path later than before -- when starting a domain. That makes one
particular inconsistent state of a chardev, which was not possible
before, currently valid. However, SELinux security driver forgot to
guard the main restoring function by a check for NULL-paths. So make it
no-op for NULL paths, as in the DAC driver.

That happens because without any specific options gcc doesn't keep enum
information in the resulting binary object. I managed to isolate the
parameters of gcc that caused this issue to disappear, however I
remember that they influenced the resulting binaries quite a bit and
were definitely not something we would want to add as mandatory to the
build process.
So to deal with this cleanly, let's take that enum and separate it out
to its own header file. Since it is only used in the lockd driver and
the protocol, lock_driver_lockd.h feels like a suitable name.

Commit b22344f328 mistakenly reordered
Default-* lines. Thanks to that I noticed that we are very inconsistent
with our init scripts, so I took the liberty of synchronizing them,
updating them and making them all look shiny and new. So apart from
fixing the LSB requirements, I also fixed the ordering, specified
runlevels and fix the link to the reference specification.

The condition was checking for UHCI (and OHCI for ppc64) availability so
that it can specify the proper device instead of legacy usb. However,
for ppc64, we don't need to check both OHCI and UHCI, but only OHCI as
that is the legacy default. The condition is so big that it was just a
matter of time when someone will make a mistake there, so let's use more
lines so that it is visible what the condition checks for.
This fixes usage of -device instead of -usb for ppc64 that supports
pci-usb-ohci and does not support piix3-usb-uhci.
