On a system with 697 SCSI disks each configured with 8 paths the command
virsh nodedev-list fails with
error: Failed to list node devices
error: internal error: Too many node_devices '16816' for limit '16384'
Increasing the upper limit on lists of node devices from 16K to 64K.

Since a successful completion of the calls to openvswitch is expected
a longer timeout should be able to be chosen to account for loaded systems.
Therefore this patch provides the ability to specify the timeout value for
openvswitch calls in the libvirtd configuration file.

fabric_name is one of many fc_host attributes in Linux that is optional
and left to the low-level driver to decide if it is implemented.
The zfcp device driver does not provide a fabric name for an fcp host.
This patch removes the requirement for a fabric name by making it optional.

File open errors are prevented by a file exists check before
virFileReadAll is called since all callers of the virReadFCHost
method handle errors themselves based on the NULL return anyway.
Also included is a minor spelling correction in a comment.

This patch reduces the complexity of the filtering algorithm in
virCgroupDetect by first correcting the controller mask and then
checking for potential co-mounts without any correlating
controller mask modifications.
If you agree that this patch removes complexity and improves
readability it could simply be squashed into the first patch
of this series.

The cgroup controller filtering in virCgroupDetect does not work
properly if the following conditions are met:
1) the host system does not have a cgroup controller which
libvirt requests (unavailable controller) and
2) libvirt is configured to disable a controller (disabled controller) and
3) the disabled controller is located before the unavailable controller
in virCgroupController.
As an example: The memory controller is unavailable and the cpuset
controller is configured to be disabled.
In this scenario trying to start a domain results in the error
error: Controller 'cpuset' is not wanted, but 'memory' is co-mounted: Invalid argument
This error occurs when virCgroupDetect is called with a valid parent group.
The resulting group created by virCgroupCopyMounts holds for cpuset and
memory controller empty mount points. The filtering of disabled controllers
checks for co-mounts by comparing the mount points. The cpuset controller
causes the filtering to occur before the memory controller is marked as to be
ignored by modifying the controller mask since it is unavailable.
Therefore the co-mount detection logic compares the cpuset and memory controller
mount points and since both are empty the memory controller is regarded
erroneously as being co-mounted.

If libvirt is compiled without NUMACTL support starting libvirtd
reports a libvirt internal error "NUMA isn't available on this host"
without checking if NUMA support is compiled into the libvirt binaries.
This patch adds the missing NUMA support check to prevent the internal error.
It also includes a check if the cgroup controller cpuset is available before
using it.
The error was noticed when libvirtd was restarted with running domains and
on libvirtd start the qemuConnectCgroup gets called during qemuProcessReconnect.

If a panic device is being defined without a model in a domain
the default value is always overwritten with model ISA. An ISA
bus does not exist on S390 and therefore specifying a panic device
results in an unsupported configuration.
Since the S390 architecture inherently provides a crash detection
capability the panic device should be defined in the domain xml.
This patch adds an s390 panic device model and prevents setting a
device address on it.

Having on_crash set to either coredump-destroy or coredump-restart
creates core dumps with option memory-only in the directory specified
by auto_dump_path. When a watchdog is triggered with the action dump
the core dump is also placed into the directory specified by auto_dump_path
but is created without the option memory-only.
This patch sets the option memory-only also for core dumps created by the
watchdog event.

When a SCSI disk is hotplugged to a domain that does not have the required
SCSI controller already defined and loaded the following internal error occurs
error: Failed to attach device from scsi_disk.xml
error: internal error: Could not find scsi controller with index 0 required for device
Commit 0260506c added in method qemuBuildDriveDevStr a lookup of the controller
alias. The internal error occurs because in method qemuDomainAttachSCSIDisk
the automatic creation of the potentially missing SCSI controller occurs after
calling qemuBuildDriveDevStr.
This patch reverses the calling sequence.

This patch reverts parts of commits 0d8b24f6b and 0785966d dealing with
the addition of a controller during virDomainHostdevAssignAddress. This
caused a regression for the hostdev hotplug path which assumes the
qemuDomainFindOrCreateSCSIDiskController will add the new controller
during qemuDomainAttachHostSCSIDevice to both the running domain and
the domain def controller list when the controller doesn't yet exist
(whether due to no SCSI controllers existing or the addition of a new
controller because existing ones are full).
Since commit id 0d8b24f6 will call virDomainHostdevAssignAddress during
virDomainDeviceDefPostParseInternal which is called either during domain
definition post processing (via an iterator during virDomainDefPostParse)
or directly from virDomainDeviceDefParse during hotplug, the change
broke the "side effect" of being able to add both a hostdev and controller
to the running domain.
The regression would only be seen if the running domain didn't have a
SCSI controller already defined or if the existing SCSI controller was
"full" of devices and a new controller needed to be created.
This patch will also add some extra comments to the code to avoid a
similar future change.

On a system with 160 CPUs the /proc/cpuinfo size grows beyond
the currently set limit of 10KB causing an internal error.
This patch increases the buffer size to 1MB.

On architectures not supporting the Intel specific programmable interval
timer, like e.g. S390, starting a domain with a clock definition containing
a pit timer results in the error "Option no-kvm-pit-reinjection not supported
for this target".
By moving the capability enablement for -no-kvm-pit-reinjection from the
InitQMPBasic section into the x86_64 and i686 only enablement section all
other architectures are no longer automatically enabled. In addition
architecture related capabilities enablements have refactored into a new
architecture bound capabilities initialization function.
