This patch includes the following changes to virnetdevmacvlan.c and virnetdevvportprofile.c: - removes some netlink functions which are now available in virnetdev.c - Adds a vf argument to all port profile functions. For 802.1Qbh devices, the port profile calls can use a vf argument if passed by the caller. If the vf argument is -1 it will try to derive the vf if the device passed is a virtual function. For 802.1Qbg devices, This patch introduces a null check for the device argument because during port profile assignment on a hostdev, this argument can be null. LibVirt : simple API for virtualization
Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities
of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software
available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of
the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of
Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic
resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing
long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but
should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
