This code has had problems historically. As originally written, in commit6bcf2501(Jun 08), it could call unlink on a random string, nuking an unrelated file. Then commit182a80b9(Sep 09), the code was rewritten to allocate tmp, with both a use-after-free bug and a chance to call unlink(NULL). Commite206946(Mar 11) fixed the use-after-free, but not the NULL dereference. Thanks to clang for catching this! * src/qemu/qemu_driver.c (qemudDomainMemoryPeek): Don't call unlink on NULL.
LibVirt : simple API for virtualization
Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities
of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software
available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of
the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of
Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic
resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing
long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but
should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
