On Linux, application settings are stored in a text file in the users home folder. On Windows, these settings are stored in Registry. Users have reported stale lock files the configuration directory. In some cases, these lock files can prevent the application from starting. It appears that the application start, but no GUI is displayed.
The intention is to update the selection manager only from the 3D view. The 3D interaction handlers will be affected if the selection manager is updated from the plot window.
For calculated curves, the name vector name is often created using underscore. Check if the vector name already is present in the title.

The cache on GitHub is limited to 10 GB. Recent versions of vcpkg includes debug symbols in Windows release builds, and creates really huge binary libraries.
To make sure the binaries fit into the cache, the debug symbols are removed from both debug and release builds.
Add a static map between field keyword and a subset of enum values to be displayed in the GUI
If a subset is defined, automatically calculate value options for this subset, otherwise, use all enums
