Kristian Bendiksen 58775bc1cc CI: Fix python-linting workflow to catch unfixable ruff errors 
ruff check --diff only reported fixable violations, silently passing
on unfixable errors like E402. Replace with ruff check (no flags) to
fail CI on all violations. Auto-fix PR creation now only triggers on
failure for same-repo branches.

Magne Sjaastad 64c24a6254 RHEL8: Add separate vcpkg configuration and readme 
Add vcpkg-configuration-rhel8.json with an independent baseline that
can be updated separately from the default config. The RHEL8 CI workflow
copies this file over vcpkg-configuration.json before running cmake.
Add vcpkg-readme.md documenting the configuration files and their usage.

Use of Azure for caching is not working well for private forks of ResInsight. Use a custom vcpkg-cache to store binaries on Github cache.

Kristian Bendiksen 1a07abb794 Fix build workflow for fork PRs 
Make vcpkg binary caching conditional on secret availability. When
AZURE_VCPKG_STORAGE_ACCOUNT is not available (fork PRs), fall back to
building dependencies from source instead of failing.

Kristian Bendiksen c53761bbbf Fix Python linting workflow for fork PRs 
The peter-evans/create-pull-request action fails for fork PRs because
it tries to fetch a branch that only exists in the fork. Add conditional
logic to handle fork PRs differently:

- Fork PRs: Run black --check --diff and fail if formatting issues exist
- Same-repo PRs and pushes: Keep existing behavior (run black, create fix PR)

Magne Sjaastad 67accb637e Adds workflow to bump dev version 
Creates a GitHub Actions workflow to automatically bump the ResInsight dev version number and create a pull request to the dev branch.

This workflow allows for automated incrementing of the `-dev.XX` version suffix upon manual trigger, ensuring consistent versioning and simplifying the release process.

Magne Sjaastad c11117ed41 Add libomp-19-dev to Clang 19 install in CI workflow 
Added libomp-19-dev to the list of packages installed in ResInsightWithCache.yml to provide OpenMP support for Clang 19. Also adjusted package formatting for clarity. No changes to logic or verification steps.

Magne Sjaastad 201a48da26 Update clang-19 install steps in CI workflow 
Replaced llvm.sh with manual addition of the LLVM APT repository for Ubuntu Noble in ResInsightWithCache.yml. Now installs clang-19 and related tools directly via apt-get, verifies installation, and provides more control and reliability over the setup process.

Magne Sjaastad b383baa97f Add vcpkg secrets check to CI workflow 
Added a step in ResInsightWithCache.yml to verify that the required AZURE_VCPKG_STORAGE_ACCOUNT and AZURE_VCPKG_SAS_TOKEN secrets are set before running the configure step. This ensures the workflow fails early with a clear error if these secrets are missing, improving reliability and debuggability.

Magne Sjaastad 6d7151a5e2 Adds gcc-14 support to Ubuntu workflow 
Adds support for gcc-14 to the Ubuntu 24.04 build workflow.
This ensures compatibility with projects requiring gcc-14 and allows testing with the latest compiler versions.

It installs gcc-14 and g++-14 if the configuration specifies 'gcc-14'.

* Configures automated spell checking with codespell
Adds GitHub workflows and configuration files for automated spell checking using `codespell`.

This includes:
- A workflow for checking pull requests and preventing new typos
- A workflow for automatically fixing typos in the main codebase
- Configuration files for `codespell` to ignore specific terms and file types
- Documentation on how to use and configure the spell checking workflows.

* Corrects minor spelling and grammar errors.

Magne Sjaastad 21bc6c34e3 Adds workflow to bump dev version 
Adds a workflow to automatically increment the ResInsight development version number in the ResInsightVersion.cmake file.

The workflow is triggered manually and updates the RESINSIGHT_DEV_VERSION by incrementing the numeric part of the version string. It then commits and pushes the changes to the repository.

Removes the CMake version check that caused issues with newer CMake versions.

Prints the CMake version in the workflow to aid in debugging.

Sets a minimum CMake policy version in CMakePresets.json. This is required to be able to build with CMake 4
