- use time stepping algorithm pid instead of pid + iter
Adjusting the time-steps on the number of linear iterations does
currently not give any improvents on the time-stepping.
- Change the pid tolerance. The time-stepper will take longer time-steps
and thus reduce the simulation time significantly. The Norne and the SPE
results does not degrade
- Less aggressive reduction of time-steps after convergence problems
Rename the the meaning for shut as whats used in Eclipse.
STOP: Well stopped off above the formation. I.e. allow for flow in the
well.
SHUT: Well completely isolated from the formation. The well is removed
from the well list.
The name to index map is used to make sure the correct wellstate values
are associated with the corresponding well. Shut wells should be
excluded from this mapping as no date is for shut wells are found in the
wellstates, instead 0 is outputed for the shut wells.
Shut wells are not added to the well list and the well index should
therefore not be increased when well control is set. This is similar to
whats is done for shut wells in createWellsFromSpecs.
Shut wells are not added to the well list and thus not considered in the
simulator.
The shut well test in test_wellsmanager is modified to assert this
behaviour.
BUG: This change provokes an assert in the EclipeWriter as number of
wells in wellstate is different from number of wells in the schedule.
For constant capillar pressure function the saturation is
determined by cell depths:
Sg_max, Sw_min
----- goc ----
Sg_min, Sw_min
----- woc ----
Sg_min, Sw_max
The pvt interface is extended to handle wet-gas systems:
1. rvSat is added as a function in the PVT interface
2. SinglePvtLiveGas computes the pvt values and its derivatives
3. The old rbub variable is changed to rsSat for clearity
4. The new interface is tested in test_blackoilfluid with data from
liveoil.DATA and wetgas.DATA
Functions for volume factor and viscosity that explicitly take a boolean
variable indicating whether the fluid is saturated or not is added to
the SinglePvtInterface.
Corresponding changes are done in the dependent PVT files.
The new functionality is tested in test_blackoilfluid
The second input of initBlackoilStateFromDeck that computes surface
volumes based on gas/oil ratio is changed from
BlackoilPropertiesInterface to Props. To avoid duplication with the old
initBlackoilStateFromDeck its name is changed to
initBlackoilSurfvolUsingRS.
Add new function is added that computes saturation from surface volumes
solving z = As for each cell. This function is used to compute an
intial guess to the saturations in initState_impl.hpp.
The calculated gas resolution factor is compared to
the tabulated resolution to check wether the oil is saturated
or not. The new test judges equality as saturated. This
is cruscial as the gas resolution is set to equal the tabulated value
for the saturated case in the appleyard process.
The relperm of water and gas is now evaluated at the water and gas
saturation, respectivly. The relperm of oil is still a combination of
the the 2p relperm of water/oil and oil/gas.
